This involved the teachers working closely with parents who have English as an additional language. We wanted to highlight the strong relationship we have with our parents; whilst best preparing potential parents and children. One of our aims was to translate nursery letters and resources into several languages, which include Arabic, Hungarian and Spanish. This was only made possible by the hard work from our parents and staff. As well as this we made specific, practical, visual resources for children’s settling in period. Thank you to our parents for all their hard work!

An added bonus was that our current parents felt it was important to share their children’s positive experiences of Holy Rosary Nursery School in a short video. Several parents recorded videos in their own languages, including English. The videos and resources are available for you to look at below.
